FP Render - AS1530.1 Non Combustible Certified

Euromix FP Render is a dry mix, full polymer, acrylic cement based render formulated for application over sheet and panel substrates, like, autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC Hebel),expanded polystyrene (EPS), fibre cement (FC) and plaster based materials. Euromix FP Render is mixed with water only (no added Bond).

When used as a base coat, Euromix FP Render can be applied up to 3-4 mm thick in one coat (over masonry and similar solid substrates) and boasts up to 12mm without risk of sagging*.

In March 2018, the Australian National Construction Code (NCC), Volume 1, was amended, to prohibit the use of combustible cladding on new high-rise buildings greater than three storeys. Since that amendment there have been other additions to the NCC governing the design of external walls to ensure that they do not contribute to the spread of fire in a building and between buildings. The NCC instructs that external walls of Type A and Type B buildings must be constructed wholly of materials that are non combustible. The NCC also sets out that combustibility be determined by testing in accordance with AS 1530.1-1994 (Methods for fire tests on building materials, components and structures, Part 1; Combustibility test for materials).

Euromix™ Renders, have, like most other pre mixed renders, been accepted as inherently non combustible

due to their component constituents and the method of production and application. Recognising the importance of this critical area of building design, construction and certification, Euromix is in the midst of testing the combustibility of all its renders in accordance with AS 1530.1

In accordance with the criteria of AS 1530.1, and; as set out in Section 7 of the CSIRO publication (Fire Safety Guideline for External Walls, Version , 18 April 2016), Euromix™ FP Render is now the 4th product in the range of Non Combustible Compliant Renders from Euromix (Skim, Render and Cream) deemed non-combustible.

A specially formulated liquid additive that increases the adhesion, compressive and chemical strength of Euromix Render and Euromix Skim Coat, is added to the water in various ratios to make the gauge.

Euromix Render - AS1530.1 Non Combustible

Euromix™ Render is a multipurpose render, suitable for use both as a base coat where finishing renders, texture coats, etc. or architectural finishes (like tiles) are to be applied and as a finish coat, where a high quality sponge finish is required. It can be applied by hand or by machine, in layers ranging from 2mm to 6mm at a time.
